ford~

i love old trucks. fords especially, but anything from the 60’s or 70’s. our family van was a 1960 ford econoline panel van, that my dad cut windows into and made a ‘camper’ out of. we spent each summer making our pilgrimage from pennsylvania to texas in this van, camping along the way. my dad still uses it, the cabinetry and curtains long gone….

see my sister’s set of our old van here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/71725157@N00/sets/72157630859247988/

Beth I too hold a spot for these sorts of old trucks. Rich drove a 1965 Chevy truck when we were dating, we found a 1965 GMC and were hoping to pick it up for our first driver in our family but it was sort of expensive, they hold their value that’s for sure and they just leave me with good feelings. I love this!

Oddly enough, the curtains are still there!!! Amazing memories in this van. Love the blue colors of this era too.
